Settings

The hosting player is responsible for settings of the game and having the correct rules according to the challenge setup. If the settings are incorrect, the host must end the game immediately and adjust the settings before any action occurs within the match otherwise it shall result in a disqualification for that specific game and will resume to the next game if there is one. If a player continues to play a game without notifying that the setup is wrong with the challenge options then it continues as a normal game and cannot be disqualified. If the host refuses to end the match then it will result in a disqualification. It is the responsibility of the player know the rules, to obtain valid proof of a disqualification, and leave the game. Invite Only and not inviting authorized spectators is extremely recommended to avoid issues.

Disconnection

  1. If a player disconnects due to connection then they have 5 minutes to rejoin the game and contact the spectating referee or other player immediately or it will count as a forfeit for that game.
  2. Whether it is the host or the non-host player that disconnects and rejoins the match, the game must be continued with the same scores as continuing from when one player last disconnected.
  3. If a player disconnects during an objective gametype then it results in a loss for that game.
(Example: There is no resuming scores except for Free For All or kill-based gametype)

Warnings

  1. For each game, players can receive up to two warnings. The second warning qualifies as a disqualification. Whether a warning or disqualification will be called is solely up to the victim of the illegal action.
  2. Disqualifications must be called immediately after an illegal action has occurred or it will be invalid. A disqualification cannot be called after a match has finished. The only exception is any action that cannot be seen during the game.

Reportings

  1. Players must report the outcome of the match within 24 hours after the match has concluded.
  2. If one player fails to report scores or dispute against the other player’s reported scores of a win, then the win shall automatically be received by the player who reported scores in 24 hours.
  3. Reporting a win or a loss without reason or a match occurring results in disciplinary action or suspension against the user.

Attendance

  1. If a player fails to arrive to a challenged match then the other player is responsible for providing valid proof of the player not being in attendance in order to qualify for the forfeit.
  2. Players must use in-game username accounts that are displayed on their 1v1LB Profile.

Disputes

  1. Players can submit details and all required valid evidence of a dispute or DQ by reporting an issue on the specific challenged match.
  2. Players are responsible for being aware of their disputed matches, reporting scores, and obtaining valid picture or video proof of their disputes and winning the match.
  3. If no proof or details are provided in a dispute, the win will be given to the only player who provided proof. If no player submits proof or specific details of the dispute within 5 hours after it has occurred, then a staff member will delete the match and neither a win or loss will be given to a player.
  4. Provide as much detail as possible on what happened in each individual game, who the hosting player was, what actions were taken during the match, and what the dispute is on for a staff member to review the case and give the rightful player the win for the ranked match.
  5. Valid proof consists of clear pictures of the final scoreboard with players visibly present, video proof of the game, or observable evidence of an action in-game. Witnesses do not count as proof unless it is reported by an official moderator/staff member. Conversations with players also do not count as valid proof.
  6. Reporting an issue on purpose with no valid reason or providing false proof of a ranked match results in a suspension from 1v1LB.

Code of Conduct

  1. Rules are subject to change and it is the responsibility of the players competing on the ranks to understand and utilize the correct rules and match setup.
  2. All 1v1LB accounts, tournaments, and usernames are property of 1v1LB. 1v1LB retains the right to issue penalties such as suspensions, rank resets, eliminations from tournaments, and deactivate users subject to violating rules and codes of conduct.
  3. All players competing on ranks must comply with calls made by staff members and moderators during ranked matches. Implications set by a moderator/staff member/referee must be followed by players and if refused shall result in a forfeit.
  4. Tampering with 1v1LB staff at any time is subject to permanent ban. Cooperation with participants in violation of rules and codes of conduct will be subject to penalties.
  5. Creating multiple accounts will result in severe penalties.
  6. It is the respectful duty of participating players to report suspicious activity or violators of rules to 1v1LB in order to improve the community and enhance the experience for all players.
